Research Sponsorships
Help Find a Cure for Celiac Disease

Since 2000, Celiac Canada's J. Alexander Campbell Research Fund is used to continue the valuable work begun by Dr. Campbell, investigating and reporting on all aspects of celiac disease and the gluten-free diet and to encourage others in the field who share this interest.

Research projects cover      scientific, applied science, and those clinically relevant to celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and/or non-celiac gluten sensitivity, or the socio-economic implications of delayed diagnosis and/or living with these conditions.

What will a Sponsor receive?

Individuals who sponsor a researcher will receive an income tax receipt, project overview, regular updates, a final report and a chance to meet with the researcher(s) to learn firsthand about their work.

There are two sponsorship opportunities:

1) Young Investigator Sponsorship - Supports a Masters or PhD candidate who is mentored on a project generally in a university setting.

2) JA Campbell Main Research Award - Supports one or more established researchers on a project.

Research projects are based in Canada and normally span 12 months, but some exceptions or extensions may be granted.
